The theme of this year’s British Science Week was ‘Connections’.
At Singlewell, we explored this theme through a range of activities, talks, workshops and assemblies. We had talks from many organisations including The RPSCA, Southern Water, Animal Aid, The NFU, The Science Boffins and a visit and talk from the Nite Owls.
In addition to this, the children completed many activities in their class to compliment these workshops and assemblies. The children were also able to visit the duck eggs and watch them hatch into ducklings.
All these activities were free of charge for families for all events during Science Week, but we do ask that you talk to your children about all the activities that they have completed, as we hope that the week has inspired our children to be ambitious and curious scientists!
